Description

The Financial Advisor will join the Personal and Business Banking Team, focusing on building and managing a dedicated client portfolio. This role involves providing financial services support, delivering exceptional client service, and acting as a single point of contact for clients following CIBC's Imperial Service approach. The advisor will help clients plan for their current and future financial goals, including securing homes and businesses, by offering tailored financial advice and solutions.

What We're Looking For

Client Engagement: Focus on providing a meaningful client experience, offering tailored advice and solutions across financial planning areas such as day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning. Cultivate networks to establish new client relationships.,Business Development: Develop a deep understanding of the local market and potential client base to create sales plans that convert leads into new clients. Utilize strong relationship-building and networking skills to generate opportunities and achieve results. Leverage CIBC's credit and investment solutions with a needs-based approach.,Community Involvement: Enhance CIBC's brand awareness by participating in local events, marketing, and outreach activities to grow networks and generate future opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

1 – 3 years of experience in providing financial advice to clients, establishing relationships, and achieving performance targets.,Certified professional (CIRO-MFD) with current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC)/Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC), meeting eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.,Certified professional (Quebec) with current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing; successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset: Completion of CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).

Special Commitments
