As a Financial Advisor at CIBC, you will manage and expand a dedicated client portfolio by providing financial advice, exceptional client service, and support across various financial services. You will act as a primary contact for clients, helping them achieve their financial goals, including home ownership and business setup, while adhering to CIBC’s Imperial Service approach.

Deliver on CIBC’s Imperial Service approach, acting as a single point of contact for clients.
Help clients plan for today’s needs and tomorrow’s goals, including securing futures, owning homes, and setting up businesses.
Focus on each client experience, connecting personally to make interactions meaningful.
Provide tailored advice and solutions in all areas of financial planning (day-to-day banking, investments, lending, estate planning).
Cultivate network to establish new client relationships.
Understand local market and potential client base to create sales plans.
Use relationship building and networking skills to generate opportunities and deliver results.
Leverage CIBC’s credit and investment solutions to provide a needs-based approach.
Heighten CIBC brand awareness through local events, marketing, and outreach activities.
1 – 3 years experience in providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets.
Certified professional (CIRO-MFD).
Current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC)/Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC) and must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.
For Quebec: Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing; Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).
Asset: Completed CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
37.5 hours/week, flexible (may include evenings and weekends)
Flexible to work banking centre hours which may include evenings and weekends. Flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance. Must be legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified.
