Description

This role involves building and managing a client portfolio by providing financial services, support, and exceptional client service. The Financial Advisor will act as a primary contact for clients, helping them plan for their financial present and future by offering trusted investment advice and comprehensive financial planning support. This includes cultivating new client relationships through networking and understanding the local market to convert leads into CIBC clients.

Ideal Candidate

Current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC) with eligibility for MFDA licensing.,For Quebec: Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing; successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset: Completion of CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
