Description

This role involves building and managing a client portfolio within the Personal and Business Banking Team at CIBC. The Financial Advisor will serve as a primary contact for clients, offering financial advice and solutions related to banking, investments, lending, and estate planning, following CIBC's Imperial Service approach. The role emphasizes client engagement, business development through networking and understanding the local market, and community involvement to promote the CIBC brand.

Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management, financial services support, and client service.,Act as a single point of contact for clients, providing tailored financial advice for current and future goals.,Be flexible to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends.,Be flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.,Focus on client experience, connect personally, and provide tailored advice in all areas of financial planning.,Cultivate a network to establish new client relationships.,Understand the local market and client base to create sales plans.,Use relationship building and networking skills to generate opportunities and results.,Leverage CIBC’s credit and investment solutions for a needs-based approach.,Heighten CIBC brand awareness through local events and marketing.

Ideal Candidate

Certified professional (CIRO-MFD).,Current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC)/Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC) and must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.,For Quebec: Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing.,For Quebec: Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing.,For Quebec: Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset: CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774).,Asset: CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
