This role at CIBC involves building and managing a dedicated client portfolio by providing financial services, advice, and exceptional client service under the Imperial Service approach. The Financial Advisor acts as a primary contact for clients, assisting them with comprehensive financial planning to meet both current and future goals, including securing homes and establishing businesses.

What We're Looking For

Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through effective relationship management and client service.,Provide tailored financial advice and solutions across all areas of financial planning, including day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning.,Cultivate a network to establish new client relationships.,Understand the local market and potential client base to develop sales plans that convert leads into new clients.,Utilize CIBC’s range of credit and investment solutions to offer needs-based approaches, fostering client loyalty and increasing referrals.,Enhance CIBC brand awareness through community involvement, attending local events, and participating in marketing activities.

Ideal Candidate

1 – 3 years of experience in providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets.,Certified professional (CIRO-MFD).,Current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC)/Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC) and must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.,For Quebec: Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing; Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset: Completion of CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
