Description

This role involves building and managing a client portfolio, providing financial advice on banking, investments, lending, and estate planning, and actively engaging in business development and community involvement to expand CIBC's client base and brand awareness. The Financial Advisor acts as a single point of contact for clients under CIBC's Imperial Service approach.

What We're Looking For

Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.,Act as a single point of contact for clients, providing tailored financial advice for current needs and future goals, including day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning.,Cultivate a network to establish new client relationships.,Understand the local market and client base to create sales plans, converting leads into new clients.,Utilize strong relationship building and networking skills to generate opportunities and achieve results.,Leverage CIBC's range of credit and investment solutions to provide a needs-based approach.,Increase CIBC brand awareness in the community through local events and outreach activities.,Be flexible to work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends.,Be flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

Ideal Candidate

Postsecondary degree/diploma and/or 4 years of relevant experience.,Current accreditation and good standing for Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID) licensing.,For Quebec: Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing.,For Quebec: Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing.,For Quebec: Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset for Quebec: CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
