Description

As a Financial Advisor within CIBC's Personal and Business Banking Team, you will cultivate a dedicated client portfolio by managing relationships, providing financial services support, and delivering exceptional client service. You will act as a primary contact for clients, offering tailored financial advice across various planning areas including banking, investments, lending, and estate planning to help them achieve their financial goals. This role involves significant client engagement, business development through understanding the local market and networking, and community involvement to enhance the CIBC brand.

What We're Looking For

Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management, financial services support, and exceptional client service.,Deliver on CIBC’s Imperial Service approach, acting as a single point of contact for clients.,Provide tailored advice and solutions in all areas of financial planning (day-to-day banking, investments, lending, estate planning).,Cultivate network to establish new client relationships.,Understand local market and client base to create sales plans and convert leads.,Use relationship building and networking skills to generate opportunities and deliver results.,Leverage CIBC’s credit and investment solutions to provide needs-based advice.,Attend local events and participate in marketing/outreach activities to heighten CIBC brand awareness.

Ideal Candidate

Postsecondary degree/diploma AND/OR 4 years of relevant experience.,Current accreditation and good standing for Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID) licensing.,For Quebec: Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing; Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset: CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
