Description

This role involves managing and expanding a dedicated client portfolio within CIBC's Personal and Business Banking Team, specifically in Imperial Service. The advisor will build comprehensive financial plans, provide exceptional client service, and proactively engage with clients to understand their goals and offer tailored financial advice for both immediate needs and long-term objectives. The position requires flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and potentially at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

Certified professional (CIRO-ID).,Current accreditation and good standing for CIRO-ID licensing requirements.,Canadian Securities Course (CSC) written within the past 3 years (required upon hire).,Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).,Wealth Management Essentials Course (WME).,Personal Financial Planner (PFP) within 24 months of hire.,For Quebec: Current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing.,For Quebec: Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing.,For Quebec: Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).,Asset if completed CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
