Description

The Finance Operations Officer III at TD Bank provides comprehensive administrative, transaction processing, data management, and operational finance support. This role involves working within established procedures, handling activities across multiple systems and jurisdictions, and addressing moderately to highly volatile transactions. The officer will identify and resolve issues or escalate them as needed, interacting with internal and potentially external customers. Key responsibilities include processing finance-related transactions accurately, ensuring customer service, acting as a resource to finance partners, and contributing to financial initiatives. The position requires solid knowledge of business unit operations and relevant regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

Handles operational finance activities such as processing, balancing, reconciling, and validating transactions.,Investigates customer issues and prepares files, performs data gathering and cleansing, and produces reports.,Processes various finance-related transactions accurately and on time, adhering to guidelines and SLAs.,Provides optimal internal customer and partner service, meeting service standards.,Ensures exception, correction, payment, and inquiry items are identified and processed correctly.,Acts as a key resource to Finance partners by providing financial information/data, responding to inquiries, and performing adjustments.,Coordinates and/or consolidates financial information needs/requests.,Identifies key variances and contributes to the analysis, due diligence, and execution of initiatives.,Maintains working relationships with internal customers, partners, and/or vendors.,Prioritizes and manages workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity.,Understands and applies operating policies and procedures.,Follows internal and industry regulations and standard operating practices.,Escalates non-standard or high-risk activities as necessary.,Ensures prepared documentation is accurate, reflects business intentions, and is consistent with regulations.,Completes investigations, reports/escalates risk issues or process gaps.,Identifies and recommends opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency.,Ensures due diligence for accuracy of all transactions/activities.,Complies with Bank Code of Conduct.,Participates fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment.,Continuously enhances knowledge/expertise and participates in knowledge transfer.,Participates in personal performance management and development activities, including cross-training.,Keeps others informed about project status and daily activities.,Contributes to a fair, positive, and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce.,Acts as a brand champion for the business area/function and the bank.

Ideal Candidate

High School diploma (required),Undergraduate degree/college diploma (preferred),2+ years relevant experience
