Finance Manager
Description
The Finance Manager role at TD Bank involves overseeing Valuation Controls, Policies, and Governance within the Product Control team. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely reporting, maintaining robust controls, and upholding governance standards for valuations at TD Securities. The position also requires providing insights and analysis on TD Securities & Bank's Fair Value results, collaborating with various internal departments, and acting as a primary contact for all valuation-related governance activities.
What We're Looking For
Key responsibilities include coordinating valuation committee meetings, preparing and presenting reports on valuation matters to senior management and risk committees, ensuring fair value reporting and disclosures comply with valuation policies, explaining IPV variances and valuation adjustment results, collaborating with auditors and regulators, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and providing training on governance standards and policy updates. Mandatory qualifications include 5+ years of experience in valuation control, risk management, or audit within financial services, with specific experience in valuation control or governance.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM are highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of experience in valuation control, risk management, or audit within the financial services industry, with mandatory experience in Valuation Control or Governance.
