Description

The AP Coordinator role focuses on accounts payable, processing commodity usage, reconciliations, managing expense impact on inventory, and supporting financial reporting and audits. This position emphasizes organization, accuracy, and collaboration, reporting to the Finance Administration Manager.

What We're Looking For

Conduct daily reviews and manage clerical entries related to production and inventory transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.,Reconcile invoices using correct general ledger (G/L) codes and cost centers.,Enter invoice data into the ERP system, adhering to company protocols.,Assist with daily and monthly accounts payable financial transactions, including processing vendor invoices, projecting accruals, and resolving invoice issues.,Ensure all transactions comply with Saputo's accounting policies and procedures.,Prepare and analyze daily expenses.,Execute system reports for plant-wide distribution.,Coordinate and communicate with plant departments to identify and address spending anomalies.,Assist the Finance Administration Manager with period-end accruals and provide weekly updates.,Scan invoices and supporting documents for proper processing and record-keeping.,Coordinate new vendor setup with Supplier Maintenance and maintain accurate accounts payable vendor files, tracking monthly expenditures.,Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for accurate financial reporting.,Perform and support office administration activities.,Support internal and external audit processes by preparing and providing documentation.,Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics and actively apply Saputo values.,Perform other assigned finance duties.

Ideal Candidate

High School Diploma or Equivalent.,Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.,A minimum of 1 year of direct plant or manufacturing experience.,Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based accounting ERP applications.,SAP experience preferred.,Excellent verbal and written communication skills.,Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.,Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.,Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.
