The Finance Analyst role within TD Securities US Finance supports the Wholesale Banking segment by providing financial, management, liquidity, and regulatory reporting. The position also acts as a primary control and support group, assisting with business information for projects and initiatives, often liaising with US, Canadian, and other regional groups (UK and Singapore).
Support regulatory deliverables and prepare reports for FRB & US Treasury reporting.,Support regulator inquiries on reports within scope of responsibilities.,Support Governance-related tasks and work closely with Compliance and business partners.,Improve and automate existing processes and reporting, including using tools like Alteryx.,Continuously develop a strong understanding of regulatory concepts and practices.,Work closely with manager to build data/process governance, controls, and analytics for the TDS US Regulatory Reporting team.,Support alignment of current and new regulatory reporting processes.,Support other departmental projects and initiatives as assigned.,Maintain and build upon existing procedure documents and processes, gathering information from source systems and business partners.,Participate in monthly team variance discussions for regulatory reporting flux analysis.
Bachelor degree in Business/Accounting/Financial Management, with accounting designation preferred.,Proven analytical skills and sound judgment in a dynamic business environment.,Ability to translate high volumes of/complex reporting requirements and data into simple, consistent, and sustainable processes.,Demonstrated data aggregation and reconciliation skills.,Strong sense of process and data governance and strong attention to detail.,Highly motivated individual with a proven track record to deliver results.,Fluid, intuitive, and logical thinker with high level of curiosity to learn and interest in implementing process improvements.,Demonstrated time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.,Understanding of Wholesale Banking/Capital Markets businesses, products and associated balance sheet and P&L.,Collaborative, team player with ability to work individually.,Ability to manage up as well as laterally with business partners.,Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements would be an asset.,Confident communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to facilitate working with business and senior management at all levels.
