Filler Operator-PM

Description

This role involves the safe and efficient operation of production equipment, specifically gable-top carton filling and packaging machinery. Key duties include collecting product samples for quality assurance, performing seal integrity and dye inspections, setting up and validating packaging coders, and communicating any out-of-specification product conditions. The operator is also responsible for routine equipment adjustments, change-overs, cleaning (CIP/SIP), and setup. The position requires adherence to established notification protocols.

What We're Looking For

Safe and efficient operation of production equipment, including gable-top carton filling and packaging equipment.,Collect routine product samples and perform routine seal integrity testing, including dye inspections.,Set-up packaging coders and validate product codes according to specifications.,Identify and effectively communicate out-of-specification product conditions, following established notification protocol.,Perform routine equipment adjustments.,Perform equipment change-overs, CIP/SIP, clean-up, and equipment set-up.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or equivalent.,Minimum of two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing (dairy food manufacturing experience preferred).,Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus (not required).,A working understanding of food manufacturing acronyms (SQF, QA/QC, CQP, HACCP, SOP, 5S, GMP, etc.).
