Lightspeed is seeking an experienced and results-driven Field Account Executive in Montreal to manage the entire sales cycle within a designated territory. This role involves meeting with customers, identifying business growth opportunities, improving data usage for customers, menu, and staff, maintaining in-depth hospitality industry knowledge, and consistently achieving sales quotas. The role is focused on net new business development and requires frequent in-field presence.
Execute the full sales cycle: lead generation, client meetings (in-person/call), value proposition creation, financial deal structuring, contract negotiation, and closing deals.,Conduct in-person and online demonstrations of Lightspeed's product to restaurateurs.,Focus 100% on net new business in the assigned territory, requiring weekly field presence.,Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.,Become an expert in the industry, Lightspeed's product, and restaurateurs' needs.,Maintain up-to-date records in Lightspeed’s CRM solution.,Accurately process sales quotes and orders.,Familiarity and proficiency with full lifecycle sales process management.,Experience prospecting new business.,Intermediate experience in closing/quota-carrying sales roles.,Understanding of solution-based consultative sales.,Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM.,Ability to work on the road within the sales region.,Reliable mode of transportation daily.
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or any other relevant field (preferred, not necessary).,Experience selling in a SaaS environment (preferred, not necessary).,Prior experience as an Account Executive with a track record of success in in-person sales (preferred, not necessary).,Prior experience working in/with restaurants (preferred, not necessary).
