Description

This role involves evolving and operationalizing Moderna's enterprise AI strategy by designing, building, and guiding multi-cloud, agentic, and LLM-based solutions for R&D, manufacturing, and business systems. The Fellow will ensure security, data integration, and process alignment in collaboration with various internal teams. Success is measured by the delivery of cost-effective, secure, and scalable AI solutions that generate transformative value.

What We're Looking For

Define and advance Moderna's AI strategy, aligning with business goals, security standards, and process requirements.,Architect and manage scalable solutions across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure.,Lead design and deployment of large language model (LLM) services and agentic capabilities, using protocols like A2A and MCP.,Architect and enforce agentic identity and access controls with role-based, attribute-based, and Zero Trust models.,Implement security protections against AI-specific threats (adversarial attacks, data poisoning, model theft, prompt injection).,Evaluate, integrate, and customize third-party agentic solutions (Microsoft, Amazon, OpenAI, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow).,Drive rigorous build-vs-buy analyses for agentic implementations.,Design and implement multi-agent orchestration solutions ensuring agent communication, collaboration, and escalation.,Partner with AI Digital business owners to prioritize, prototype, iterate, and productionize secure AI solutions.,Assist in aligning or creating business and technical processes for AI scaling.,Present architectural blueprints, risk assessments, and ROI analyses to senior leadership.,Mentor and coach cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of security-minded innovation and continuous learning.

Bachelor's Degree (required), Advanced Degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
