The Expert Banking Advisor at RBC builds and maintains relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. This role focuses on providing proactive financial advice, collaborating with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals, and offering expertise across everyday banking, investments, and credit to address complex personal and business financial needs.

Consistently demonstrate empathy, kindness, and understand client circumstances.,Communicate effectively to uncover client needs and deliver client-centric advice.,Utilize RBC's ecosystem and partners to meet clients' full range of financial needs.,Provide professional advice and education, ensuring appropriate solutions for complex credit and investments.,Champion digital enablement, educate clients on self-service, and lead with advice.,Use technology to connect with clients virtually and face-to-face.,Implement strategies to accelerate new client acquisition and retention in the local community.,Collaborate with financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts.,Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).,Quebec – Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute (e.g., Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec).,1-2 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments.,Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).,Bilingualism (English and French).

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).,Quebec – Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute (Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec).,1-2 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments.,Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices.,Active in developing a solid network in the local community (Nice-to-have).
