Description

As an RBC Financial Advisor, you will build and grow relationships with high-value personal and small business clients by providing proactive, professional advice. You will leverage your expertise in everyday banking, investments, and credit to assist clients with complex personal and business financial needs, collaborating with RBC partners to help them achieve their goals.

What We're Looking For

Demonstrate empathy, kindness, and understanding in all interactions with colleagues and clients.

Communicate effectively to uncover client needs, deliver client-centric advice and solutions, and proactively resolve concerns.

Utilize personal advice capabilities and those of RBC partners to meet clients' entire suite of financial needs.

Provide professional advice and education on complex credit and investments, ensuring appropriate solutions.

Champion digital enablement by educating clients on self-service and encouraging digital interactions.

Make good use of technology to connect with clients both virtually and face to face.

Implement effective contact and relationship-building strategies to accelerate new client acquisition and retention.

Collaborate with market-leading professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking.

Offer and maintain mobility between listed branch locations.

Be willing to travel or work from any RBC location mentioned.

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).

For Quebec: Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute (Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec).

1-2 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments.

Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.

Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).

Nice-to-have: Active in developing a solid network in the local community.
