Description

This role as an RBC Financial Advisor involves building and growing relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. The advisor will provide proactive, professional advice, collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve their financial goals, and possess expertise across everyday banking, investments, and credit to address complex personal and business financial needs.

Consistently demonstrate empathy, kindness, and understanding in client and colleague interactions.,Communicate effectively to uncover client needs, deliver client-centric advice, and proactively resolve concerns.,Utilize internal advice capabilities and RBC partner network to meet clients' full range of financial needs.,Provide professional advice and education on complex credit and investments, ensuring appropriate solutions.,Champion digital enablement by educating clients on self-service, leading with advice, and using digital channels.,Utilize technology for virtual and in-person client connections.,Implement effective contact and relationship-building strategies for new client acquisition and retention.,Collaborate with financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts.,Offer and maintain mobility between specified branch locations.,Ability and willingness to travel or work from any RBC location listed in the 'Job Available at Other Locations' section.

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).,Quebec – Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance (e.g., Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec).,Active in developing a solid network in the local community (Nice-to-have).
