Description

As an RBC Financial Advisor, this role involves attracting, nurturing, and growing relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. The advisor will provide proactive, professional advice, collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve their financial goals, and possess expertise in everyday banking, investments, and credit to address both complex personal and business needs.

Consistently demonstrate empathy, kindness, and understand client circumstances and motivators.,Communicate effectively to uncover client needs, deliver client-centric advice, solutions, and resolve concerns.,Utilize personal advice capabilities and leverage RBC partners to meet clients' full range of financial needs.,Provide professional advice and education on complex credit and investments, ensuring appropriate solutions.,Champion digital enablement by educating clients to self-serve and encouraging preferred interaction channels.,Utilize technology for virtual and face-to-face client connections.,Implement strategies for new client acquisition and retention in the local community.,Collaborate with professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking.,Be willing to travel or work from any listed RBC location.

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).,Quebec – Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance (e.g., Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec).,1-2 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments.,Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).,Bilingualism (English and French).,Active in developing a solid network in the local community (Nice-to-have).
