Description

The Expert Banking Advisor at RBC focuses on building and nurturing relationships with high-value personal and small business clients by providing proactive, professional advice. This role involves understanding client needs, offering solutions across banking, investments, and credit, and collaborating with RBC partners to help clients achieve their financial goals. Advisors are expected to leverage digital tools and interact with clients both virtually and in person.

Consistently demonstrate empathy and kindness, taking time to understand client circumstances.,Communicate effectively to uncover client needs, deliver client-centric advice, and resolve concerns.,Utilize personal advice capabilities and RBC ecosystem partners to meet all client financial needs.,Provide professional advice on complex credit and investments, ensuring appropriate solutions.,Champion digital enablement by educating clients on self-serve options and encouraging digital interaction.,Utilize technology for virtual and face-to-face client connections.,Implement strategies for new client acquisition and retention in the local community.,Collaborate with financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts.,Mobility between branch locations is required.

Ideal Candidate

Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course),Quebec – Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance (e.g., Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec),1-2 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments,Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships,Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.),Active in developing a solid network in the local community (Nice-to-have)

Special Commitments
