Description

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide extensive support to the Head of Global Markets Sales Canada, the Global Head of Cash Equities & Research, and their teams. The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented, adept at building relationships, and capable of managing multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For

Maintain and prioritize senior executives' schedules and calendars, ensuring critical business dates are met.,Proactively identify and provide assistance to the leadership team.,Perform continuous administrative tasks including coordinating meetings, conference calls, reservations, catering, photocopying, scanning, and transportation.,Arrange and coordinate domestic and international travel.,Manage expense reports, assist with pre-approval, and ensure policy compliance.,Act as a subject matter expert for T&E and other policies; prepare and submit invoices.,Manage phones, screen incoming calls, and determine priority.,Arrange video conferences and meeting spaces.,Assist with technology requests, supply orders, and miscellaneous queries.,Support staff on-boarding and off-boarding, including equipment setup and system access requests.,Create and edit spreadsheets and presentations for internal and external meetings.,Handle regular activities independently and proactively advise on issues or delays.,Collaborate with team members for overall coverage and backup support.,Maintain information flow to internal partners and stay updated on divisional activities and business objectives.,Lead and coordinate ad hoc projects.,Minimum 5+ years' experience supporting senior executives in the finance industry.,Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.,Strong organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.,High attention to detail.,Strong verbal and written communication skills.,High degree of integrity and confidentiality.,Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).,Ability to quickly learn new technology.,Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.,Effective interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships.,Excellent telephone etiquette.,Self-starter with independent work capability.,Experience with highly confidential projects, exercising discretion and sensitivity.

Ideal Candidate

Minimum 5+ years' experience in an executive assistant capacity supporting senior executives within the finance industry,Bachelor's degree or equivalent
