The Executive Assistant will provide critical direct support to two Vice Presidents within Enterprise Strategy & Transformation (ES&T) at RBC. This role involves managing schedules, tracking action items, coordinating travel, and organizing files to assist ES&T in partnering with business units to translate strategies into initiatives for growth, efficiency, and optimization.
Provide executive assistance to two Vice Presidents with a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy.,Act as primary liaison for Vice Presidents with senior internal and external stakeholders.,Coordinate and maintain executive calendars, prioritizing with discretion.,Proactively manage travel arrangements and itineraries, ensuring efficient budgeting and resource use.,Support internal and external event planning (offsite sessions, communication & roundtable sessions, Town Halls & Coffee chats).,Maintain records and business expenses, ensuring prompt payment of invoices and bills.,Prepare and approve expenses according to delegated authorities.,Assist with agendas, materials, routines, action items, and follow-ups.,Provide post-event support as needed.,Coordinate arrangements for employee changes and onboarding plans for new hires, including equipment and premises.,Provide vacation coverage for other Executive assistants and Operations team members.,5+ years of Executive or Administrative support experience supporting senior leadership.,Superior organizational skills, especially in calendar management, scheduling, planning, and activity organization.,Strong interpersonal relationship skills for effective work with various levels of staff, including senior management and executives.,Ability to work effectively as a team member.,Sound judgment in decision-making, strong problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness.,Ability to anticipate senior executive needs and proactively address questions or opportunities.,Demonstrated initiative, positive and helpful attitude.,High proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Intranet, and Internet navigation/research skills.
5+ years of Executive or Administrative support experience supporting senior leadership.,High proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).,Intranet and Internet navigating and research skills.,Capable of acting independently and comfortable with some degree of ambiguity (Nice to Have).,Ability to think beyond the task to overall project objectives and improve processes (Nice to Have).,Adaptability and openness to change (Nice to Have).,Previous Workday experience (Nice to Have).
