Description

The Estate Planning Assistant at CIBC’s Wood Gundy team supports Head Office and Estate Planning Specialists in all administrative, sales, and marketing functions for high-net-worth clients. This includes obtaining insurance quotes, providing continuous client service, and contributing to various projects.

What We're Looking For

Review all life insurance applications, change forms, and other documents for completeness and accuracy.,Forward original life insurance applications and related documentation to the insurance company.,Organize and request underwriting requirements from the underwriter.,Maintain accurate and complete client files.,Distribute client anniversary statements and notifications to Investment Advisors promptly.,Follow-up with Investment Advisors to ensure timely service and reviews for clients regarding policy anniversary statements and lapse/late payment notifications.,Respond to client enquiries or direct them to appropriate staff; must be insurance licensed to discuss insurance-related items with clients.,Prepare insurance illustrations using provided software.,Complete electronic and paper insurance applications.,Obtain 'special' or 'inforce' insurance illustrations from insurance carriers.,Plan and organize seminars, lunch and learns, workshops, and product launches for clients.

Ideal Candidate

2-3 years of experience in the insurance industry.,Degree/diploma in Business.,LLQP (License Qualification Program) certification is an asset.,Must be insurance licensed to discuss insurance-related items with clients.
