Equity Research Associate - Consumer Restaurants

Description

This role involves providing comprehensive market research support, including compiling and publishing high-quality analysis and research on individual corporations, industries, financial markets, and economic developments. The associate will contribute to new solutions, integrate broader organizational and industry context, solve complex problems, and build stakeholder alignment within the TD Securities team.

What We're Looking For

Compile, analyze, and evaluate data, conducting modeling on multiple data inputs related to assigned companies/industries and financial markets.,Assist in the development of valuation tools and provide advice to institutional clients.,Prepare forecasting models for quarterly and annual earnings.,Maintain and enhance financial models and databases.,Stay current on market data, economic information, key industry developments, internal policies, and regulatory standards.,Develop and maintain contact with market participants.,Work closely with senior research leads on ongoing publication of research reports and assist with ad hoc projects.,Interact with clients, develop and present client presentations.,Demonstrate governance, control, and risk management behaviors in alignment with TD policies and practices.,Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies.,Ensure programs/policies/practices are well managed, meet business needs, comply with internal and external requirements.,Exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information, and confidentiality.,Participate in cross-functional/enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert.,Conduct internal and external research projects, supporting presentations and communications.,Conduct meaningful analysis at functional or enterprise level, drawing conclusions and making recommendations.,Monitor service, productivity, and assess efficiency levels, implementing continuous process/performance improvements.,Manage relationships within and across various business lines and corporate functions.,Contribute to team development through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and best practices.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree.,FINRA SIE, Series 63, 86, & 87, or willingness to obtain.,CFA designation (or working towards it) preferred for publishing analysts and associates.,Masters or PhD preferred.,2+ years related experience.
