Description
The role of an Equity Research Analyst, Director at RBC involves constructing financial models and authoring detailed, action-oriented research reports. This includes thorough site due diligence and active participation in management meetings. Responsibilities extend to continuously analyzing and updating sector-specific research, engaging with salespeople, traders, and clients to discuss findings, and responding to client inquiries related to the coverage universe. The position requires global travel for site visits and the proactive marketing of research to a global client base. What We're Looking For

Ideal Candidate
Strong economic and/or finance background with a Master's degree in Economics or Finance preferred.,Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modelling and detailed spreadsheet work.,Related experience in the chemicals sector in a buy or sell side capacity.,Superior customer service focus and attitude for internal and external clients.,Ability to perform under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines, sometimes for extended periods.,Commitment to task and an attention to detail.

Master's Degree (preferred in Economics or Finance)
