The Engineer II develops and maintains technical solutions adhering to engineering and architectural design principles and business requirements. This role focuses on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security, ensuring compliance with enterprise and industry standards. Key responsibilities include planning, evaluation, design, implementation, and support of solutions, especially within Transaction Banking (GTB), to modernize and strengthen technology platforms. The role also involves building, operating, and supporting cloud infrastructure on Azure, with an emphasis on Kubernetes, automation, and reliability.
Develop and maintain technical solutions that adhere to engineering and architectural design principles while meeting business requirements.,Provide technical expertise with a focus on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security.,Plan, evaluate, recommend, design, operationalize, and support solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards.,Build, operate, and support cloud infrastructure on Azure, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, automation, and reliability.,Work with microservice architecture, designing APIs, managing Ingress controllers, and implementing service meshes.,Develop CI/CD Pipelines using GitHub Actions/Workflows.,Stay updated with emerging security threats and industry best practices related to container security and cloud-native technologies.,Address security gaps identified within containerized environments.,Utilize IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code) tools such as Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning.,Design, deploy, and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes, GKE, AKS, or similar platforms.,Document security configurations, procedures, and guidelines for containerized environments.
Bachelor's or Graduate degree.,Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering).,7+ years relevant experience.,Expert knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issues.,Expert knowledge of TD applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, business/organization, Bank standards.,Expert knowledge and experience in own discipline; integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities.,Experience with public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) delivering enterprise solutions within financial services.,Knowledge of security and regulatory requirements for cloud environments.,Working experience with Cloud Native Networking technologies.,Knowledgeable of cloud and hybrid-cloud implementations including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.,Ability to participate in fast-paced Infrastructure Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes.,Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.,Strong communication and collaboration skills.,A critical thinker with strong research and analytics skills.,Self-motivated with a positive attitude and an ability to work independently and/or in a team.
