This role involves supporting Moderna's GxP manufacturing operations by maintaining and troubleshooting cutting-edge process automation systems such as Aveva System Platform, Rockwell Automation ControlLogix, DeltaV, Syncade, Apprentice Tempo, and Aveva Pi Historian. The engineer will ensure compliance and contribute to the production of mRNA therapies.
Troubleshooting complex issues within GxP Process Automation Systems (e.g., DeltaV or Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers),
Maintaining and sustaining a culture of compliance in solution design, operation, and maintenance,
Ability to work in first, second, or third shifts to support 24/7 operation,
Must hold work authorization in US and be able to maintain that status without the need for future sponsorship
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology discipline,
2-3 years of experience working with process automation systems,
Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to various stakeholders,
Proficiency in IT networking and OT with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize (Preferred),
Understanding of biopharmaceutical processes and equipment (Preferred),
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new skills and technologies (Preferred),
