Description

Join an agile team as a senior SQL developer focusing on the standardization and integration of fundamental financial data. This role involves data migration, specifically the transfer and transformation of large volumes of financial data from legacy systems to modern platforms with high precision and performance.

What We're Looking For

Participate in the planning, execution, and validation of complex data migration activities.

Analyze source and target systems to define matching and transformation rules.

Develop and maintain robust ETL flows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to support data migration.

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and completeness throughout the migration process.

Perform automated unit and integration tests.

Document ongoing development activities and their progress.

Develop agile and interactive analytical solutions with business lines to meet their needs, leveraging advanced structured data querying expertise.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant discipline.

10+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence projects using Microsoft SQL, SSAS, and SSIS.

Good oral and written proficiency in French and English.

Experience in agile development.

In-depth expertise on the Microsoft SQL Server platform, including: SSIS (Integration Services), inline queries, subqueries, aggregation functions, performance problem-solving, SQL Server performance optimization (interpreting execution plans to optimize indexes and/or queries), deep knowledge of SQL table and index storage (index optimization, cluster/non-cluster indexes, columnstore indexes, filtered indexes, table and index partitioning), advanced ETL development with SSIS.

Experience with Visual Studio for SSIS development and debugging.

Knowledge of source code management and deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps, Git, and TFS.

Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Experience with statistical software (R, Python, etc.) is a plus.

Experience in the financial sector is a plus.

Knowledge of PowerShell is a plus.
