Description

The Director, transactional support within the Legal Affairs team at National Bank Financial, acts as a key operational and transactional pillar for legal teams and business partners. This role involves maintaining and evolving internal procedures, legal templates, and knowledge repositories, coordinating transactional documentation, preparing and validating KYC/AML documentation, optimizing legal processes, managing contracts, and collaborating on cross-functional legal and corporate projects related to capital markets and wealth management. The position aims to enhance the efficiency and quality of legal activities, contributing to securing operations and supporting strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Maintain and evolve internal procedures, legal templates, and knowledge repositories.,Coordinate and structure the collection, organization, and review of transactional documentation.,Prepare and validate documentation required for know-your-client and anti-money laundering activities.,Optimize and deploy legal processes, tools, and best practices.,Manage and monitor contracts, signature processes, and document execution.,Contribute and collaborate on cross-functional legal and corporate projects, including legislative and regulatory monitoring.

Ideal Candidate

Diploma in legal techniques or equivalent education,5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a legal or corporate environment,Proven experience in transactional support, document management, or legal operations,Experience in process optimization and implementation of best practices within a legal department,Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and document management tools,Knowledge of environments related to capital markets and wealth management
