Description

This role is responsible for leading the strategy, delivery, and execution of Physical Identity and Access Management (PIAM) capabilities at Royal Bank of Canada. It involves collaborating with cross-functional global teams and stakeholders to prioritize and implement PIAM services, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, security needs, business requirements, and future access models. The director will also drive continuous improvement using data and analytics, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to PIAM roadmaps.

What We're Looking For

Drive strategy, delivery, and execution of PIAM capabilities.,Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.,Prioritize and implement PIAM services within defined time, scope, and budget.,Responsible for stakeholder alignment, vendor, and platform strategy, and governance.,Ensure PIAM solutions support enterprise security, business needs, and future access models.,Partner with Corporate security, Corporate real estate, Facilities, Global functions technology, Risk, and Business stakeholders.,Support the creation and maintenance of PIAM roadmaps.,Act as the PIAM product owner, accountable for outcomes, value realization, and prioritization.,Leverage data and analytics to identify inefficiencies and compliance gaps for continuous improvement.,Gather internal and external feedback for product identification and improvement.,Prioritize product features based on risk, value, and regulatory requirements.,Work with solution architects to ensure PIAM projects/development and operations meet enterprise architectural and technology standards.,Participate in the development and delivery of PIAM services within time, scope, and budget.,Provide relevant project estimates, assumptions, and integration options.,Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficient operations while managing risks.,Monitor PIAM trends, technology, regulation, and legislation.,Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and industry best practices.,Promote PIAM best practices, strategy, and vision across the organization.

Ideal Candidate

5+ years of experience in Product management, IT technologies, Stakeholder management.,Ability to stay current with technology trends, identify and mitigate gaps to ensure PIAM maturity.,Ability to build strong relationships, influence cross-functional teams, and communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders.,Knowledge of Physical access technologies and IAM (Nice-to-Have).,Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (Nice-to-Have).,Knowledge of IT Standards, methodologies (Nice-to-Have).,Experience in project management and guiding agile teams (Nice-to-Have).
