Description
The Director of Product Management, DevOps, at RBC will lead the product vision, roadmap, and development for the bank's developer platform. This role involves improving developer experience, code quality, application security, and compliance across RBC's application portfolio by working with leadership, product owners, and development teams, leveraging expertise in software delivery and DevOps.
What We're Looking For
Define and maintain the RBC's DevOps roadmap, prioritizing initiatives, defining measurable benefits to application development teams who leverage our DevOps offering, tracking key results, focusing on on-demand reporting and alignment to RBCs Technology strategic vision.,Deliver strong customer engagement through community meet ups, practitioner steering groups, focused user groups and partner product management groups.,Perform market needs analysis on high level initiatives and make data driven product decisions. Understand and continuously research industry trends.,Accountable for the end-to-end product life cycle for initiatives including planning, prioritization, documentation, communication and execution of rollout plans.,Build strong relationships with RBC's application development team executives ensuring we are meeting their team's needs, and RBC Vendors to align strategy and roadmaps for key products.
Ideal Candidate
8+ years of Product Management & Agile experience in technology driving product discussions, market scans, user experience research efforts, software development, and delivery.,Strong software engineering knowledge foundation, including advanced knowledge and experience in DevOps, SRE, and more.,Experience working with data analytics - Elastic, Logstash & Kibana (ELK) is definitely a bonus.,Ability to work collaboratively across teams and work independently to creatively solve problems.,Be an excellent communicator, negotiator and translator who can connect technology and business audiences, tailoring messaging and approach.,Relevant education in Computer Science, Business or Marketing with hands-on experience in API delivery, Data Management and/or Business Analytics.
