Lightspeed is seeking a Director, Growth Marketing to lead global data-driven growth strategies. This role focuses on driving revenue, optimizing performance, and expanding customer acquisition. The Director will build scalable growth engines, enhance conversion funnels, and ensure data-first decision-making across acquisition and lifecycle efforts within Lightspeed's global marketing organization.

What We're Looking For

Own the strategy, performance, and leadership of Marketing Automation (MAT), Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Marketing Analytics, and Marketing AI teams.,Lead and develop a high-performing global team across MAT, CRO, AI, and Data, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.,Define and execute global growth strategies aligned with Lightspeed's business goals across various markets and verticals.,Drive experimentation and data analytics to optimize lead generation, lead scoring, conversion funnels, and retention efforts.,Own the global marketing tech stack and automation strategy for scalable and efficient campaign execution.,Lead CRO efforts across web properties, collaborating with UX, design, and content teams.,Work with the Information Systems (IS) team to leverage AI for marketing effectiveness and efficiency, including enriching prospect and customer profiles using GenAI.,Partner with the Data Office to define KPIs, build dashboards, and establish a culture of performance measurement and iterative improvement.,Collaborate cross-functionally with regional leaders, product teams, and revenue operations to align on growth priorities.,Establish a strong experimentation framework and test-and-learn culture within all managed teams.

Ideal Candidate

8–12+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or marketing operations, ideally in a global SaaS or eCommerce environment.,5+ years of experience leading teams, including cross-functional and remote teams.,Proven success in managing or scaling Marketing Automation/AI, CRO, and/or Data teams.,Deep understanding of modern marketing tech stacks (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Fivetran, Looker, GA4, Clay (CMS, CDPs)).,Strong analytical mindset with a track record of leveraging data to drive marketing performance.,Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments and a passion for experimentation and continuous improvement.,Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative, global mindset.,Fluency in English as a working language is required.,Experience in the POS, retail tech, or hospitality tech industries (preferred).,Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) as it relates to data collection and marketing practices (preferred).
