Director, GIC Portfolio and Revenue Optimization

Description

This role is responsible for leading analysis to optimize GIC portfolio performance, revenue, and client experience. It involves providing ongoing performance insights, focusing on profitability, balance retention and growth, and financial forecasting across various products and channels. The director will interpret data, extract actionable insights, and recommend improvements, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Provide leadership in analyzing and identifying opportunities to optimize GIC portfolio performance, revenue, and client experience.,Oversee the delivery of ongoing performance insights and communicate results focusing on portfolio profitability, balance retention and growth, and financial forecasting.,Demonstrate strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication.,Interpret GIC portfolio data, extract actionable insights, and recommend improvements.,Develop and maintain strong internal relationships, leveraging negotiation and influencing skills.,Contribute to business strategies, conduct comprehensive analyses to identify opportunities, formulate proposals, and develop competitive strategies.,Lead portfolio and revenue optimization analysis for the GIC portfolio.,Oversee the preparation and delivery of regular reports on profitability, growth, and retention.,Extract actionable insights and recommend performance improvements based on portfolio results, market trends, and competitive analysis.,Apply insights on consumer behavior, technology, competition, and regulatory changes to evolve products, pricing, and client experiences.,Actively participate in monthly and quarterly financial forecasting.,Collaborate with key partners (e.g., Analytics, Modeling, Marketing, Technology, Digital, Front Line, Client Segments, Finance) to assess current state and enhance portfolio performance.,Work closely with partners to optimize sales and growth across channels and build positive client experiences.,Foster cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal Candidate

Extensive experience in product management, product development, strategic planning, and partnerships (preferably in financial services).,Ability to identify, develop, and implement approved initiatives.,Strong problem-solving and communication skills.,Financial acumen.,Enjoys investigating complex problems and making sense of information.,Confident in communicating detailed information impactfully.,Client-focused.,Takes ownership and delivers results.,Embraces and advocates for change.,Lives CIBC values: trust, teamwork, and accountability.
