Description

The Director, Financing Solutions works within the Enterprise & Private Wealth Management 1859 team as a credit expert, collaborating with Enterprise Account Directors and various internal and external partners. This role involves performing high-quality credit analyses, structuring credit requests, identifying client financing needs, negotiating credit terms, and acting as a credit resource person, contributing expertise in commercial financing to positively impact colleagues and clients.

What We're Looking For

Perform high-quality credit analyses according to Credit Center standards and make recommendations.,Structure credit requests by mitigating risks and developing financing scenarios that meet client needs and align with the Bank's risk criteria.,Participate in identifying clients' financing needs in collaboration with the SAE Account Director.,Negotiate credit terms and conditions with the Credit Center when necessary and confirm financing availability.,Gather feedback on preliminary credit requests, revise as needed, and present to the Regional Vice-President before submission.,Collaborate with Account Officers and the Credit Center in documentation preparation and client file maintenance.,Act as a credit resource person within the team and support team members' competency development.,Identify risks inherent to the sector's activities.,Bachelor's degree related to the field and six years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the field and four years of relevant experience OR University certificate and eight years of relevant experience.,Experience in negotiation.,Experience in commercial credit.,Experience in financial statement analysis.,Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with partners and formulate sound recommendations.
