Director, ETF Specialist

Description

This role at CIBC Asset Management focuses on driving asset growth within the CIBC ETF product suite. The specialist will work with various distribution channels, engage directly with retail and institutional clients, and leverage their expertise in ETFs, capital markets, and investment strategies to meet client needs and achieve sales objectives. The position involves maintaining strong relationships with senior management and support organizations.

What We're Looking For

Generate and retain assets within the CIBC ETF product suite.,Collaborate with various distribution channels to enhance existing efforts.,Directly engage with retail and institutional buyers who primarily utilize ETFs.,Maintain ongoing interactions with senior management.,Build productive relationships with support organizations to drive success.,Demonstrate knowledge of the advisor client base and understand their businesses.,Provide optimal and intelligent solutions to specific advisor client requirements.,Offer sales building and support ideas and techniques to advisors in the ETF space.,Network effectively throughout the advisor client base and senior leadership within CIBC Private Wealth & Wood Gundy and third-party firms.

Ideal Candidate

Strong background in the ETF space.,Expertise in capital markets, index and factor investing, as well as active and asset allocation strategies.,Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course (required).,CFA, CFP, and/or CIM designations (an asset).,Proven track record of success in ETF sales or a related financial services role.,Recognized for overall industry knowledge, strategic thinking, sales results, and client service.,Extensive product knowledge in ETF solutions.,High level of comfort in communicating ETF information to Investment Advisors and Investors.

Minimum Education

Canadian Securities Course (CSC) completion required; CFA, CFP, and/or CIM designations considered an asset.
