Description

The Director, ETF Specialist will be instrumental in developing and executing the ETF growth strategy for the National Bank of Canada. This role involves driving sales, expanding market share, and increasing asset growth by leveraging deep product expertise and strong client relationships. The specialist will act as an ambassador, educating financial advisors on ETF strategies, collaborating with internal teams on product development and marketing, and representing the firm at industry events.

What We're Looking For

Drive ETF sales by partnering with regional sales teams to develop and execute ETF sales strategies.,Collaborate with wholesalers to analyze and segment client bases for targeted ETF opportunities.,Act as a trusted expert for financial advisors, assisting in integrating ETF strategies into portfolios.,Deliver client presentations, webinars, and training sessions to promote understanding of ETF solutions.,Collaborate with product, sales, portfolio management, and marketing teams to develop sales tools and market positioning materials.,Represent the firm at industry events and advisor conferences as a subject-matter expert.,Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.,10 years of experience in investment sales or in a product specialist role.,Strong knowledge of traditional and alternative ETFs.,Exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills.,Proven ability to influence, educate, and inspire advisors.,Bilingual (English and French).,Professional designations such as CFA or CIM are considered strong assets.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.,10 years of experience in investment sales or in a product specialist role.,Strong knowledge of traditional and alternative ETFs.,Exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills.,Proven ability to influence, educate, and inspire advisors.,Bilingual (English and French).,Professional designations such as CFA or CIM are considered strong assets.
