The Director of Data Engineering and Integration is responsible for leading the strategy, design, and delivery of enterprise data solutions and capabilities. This role involves leading teams that build and maintain scalable data models, high-performance data pipelines, APIs, and integration capabilities to support analytics and data-driven decisions across the organization. The Director will also partner with business and technology leaders to ensure data accessibility, reliability, and governance while fostering innovation in automation and integration technologies.
Define and execute the enterprise data engineering and integration roadmap aligned with business and technology strategies.,Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers, integration developers, and analysts.,Establish best practices for data architecture, modeling, and integration standards.,Oversee the design and development of scalable pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and APIs supporting analytics, reporting, and operational systems.,Develop and implement data integration strategies to connect disparate data sources and targets.,Ensure seamless integration with various data sources and enable efficient data processing across systems.,Develop and implement data analytics capabilities to support business decision-making.,Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize analytics requirements.,Design and implement data visualization and reporting tools to provide actionable insights.,Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product management, and IT to identify and prioritize requirements.,Communicate delivery progress and complex data concepts in business terms to senior leadership.,Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.,Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related field.,Proven success in designing and managing enterprise-scale data and integration platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Kafka, etc.).,Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data quality principles.,Experience with data analytics, data visualization, and reporting tools.,Strong experience with SQL, Python, and modern data frameworks.,Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience managing high-performing teams.,Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
