Description

This role at CIBC is for an experienced professional with developed business credit management skills and a background in commercial banking. The Director will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial banking clients by proactively developing new business opportunities and providing high-level client service. The position requires acting as a banking partner, delivering flexible business solutions, expertise, and timely advice to help clients achieve their goals. The work arrangement will be discussed during the interview process, indicating a hybrid model.

What We're Looking For

Lead business development activities with prospective and key CIBC clients, representing CIBC in the business community to foster relationships.,Develop new client relationships through business development activities, leveraging referral sources, existing clients, and centers of influence.,Structure, negotiate, and document credit and cash management arrangements with clients and prospects to meet their needs.,Create an environment that fosters an exceptional service culture, supports partnering behavior, and capitalizes on individual expertise to provide 'best in class' service and overall relationship management.,Develop a profile in the local business community to leverage it into effective working relationships with new and existing clients and internal partners.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
