Director, Cards Engagement (12-month Contract)

Description

This role is a 12-month contract opportunity covering a parental leave. The successful candidate will support the management of the Cards client engagement strategy portfolio within RBC Cards, one of Canada's leading credit card businesses. The position involves solving complex business problems, developing, and executing strategies to drive growth and profitability for the business.

What We're Looking For

Build long-term strategic roadmap and set near-term direction to deepen client relationships and grow balances and purchase volume.,Optimize and manage core client engagement programs (Proactive Line Increase, Upgrades, Installments, Inactive Engagement) and the overall client life cycle.,Serve as the business lead, partnering with various internal groups (PM&CS, NBA, Marketing, Ops, Business Risk, Finance, Personal Banking) to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and implement end-to-end strategies.,Build market intelligence capabilities to understand the competitive landscape.,Establish robust reporting to monitor program effectiveness and deliver actionable analysis for decision-making.,Cultivate strong knowledge of the regulatory environment and ensure compliance.,Articulate rationale behind strategy effectively, using data and information to support it, and highlighting risks and opportunities.,Assess the value of various opportunities/requests and prioritize deliverables.
