Description

CIBC is seeking a Director, Application Development to lead a team of Designers & Developers within the Application Engineering & Shared Services Technology group. This role involves managing a team responsible for building critical enterprise authentication platforms, utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will ensure appropriate standards are maintained and adherence to internal processes from requirements analysis to delivery. This is a hybrid role requiring 1-3 days per week on-site.

Work closely with internal partners to define, negotiate, and manage projects to agreed upon timelines.

Monitor project finances, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions.

Ensure timely, high-quality, cost-effective, and on-budget project implementation.

Collaborate with project teams, executives, stakeholders, and business partners to develop and implement application programs.

Advise application owners on technology implementation possibilities and requirements.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Technical discipline.
