Description

As a Director and Team Leader within CIBC's Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Managers, Commercial Banking. Your primary focus will be on developing and managing client relationships, creating comprehensive financial solutions for businesses to facilitate growth, manage cash flow, and mitigate risk. You will also focus on business development, analyzing issues and data to originate new client relationships, and ensuring your team delivers exceptional service.

What We're Looking For

Provide active leadership and guidance to Managers, Commercial Banking, in executing and managing client relationships, including delivery of credit and cash management services.,Build team and individual capabilities to ensure employees can deliver on Commercial Banking's value proposition.,Develop new client relationships through business development activities leveraging referral sources, existing clients, and centers of influence.,Actively monitor and manage client relationships by fully understanding their goals, objectives, and business status.,Structure, negotiate and document credit and cash management arrangements with clients and prospects.,Work with internal partners to connect clients with opportunities.,Build a profile in the local business community.,Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.

Ideal Candidate

Experience in commercial or business banking,Proven business development skills,Advanced knowledge of risk and credit portfolio management,Experience leading or mentoring teams,Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
