Description

This role is for a Vice-President/Director within the Fixed Income Sales team at TD Securities in Singapore. The primary focus is institutional client coverage across Rim South-East Asian countries, driving revenue through the origination, pitching, and execution of fixed income transactions encompassing both rates and credit products.

What We're Looking For

Provide coverage and service to Institutional clients in Rim South-East Asian countries (Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia) across Rates and Credit flow products.

Manage and grow institutional relationships.

Responsible for onboarding new accounts and developing existing client relationships.

Provide timely market intelligence to internal stakeholders (Syndicate, Trading, etc.).

Proficient in the full trade cycle: pitching trade ideas (primary and secondary), pricing, execution, and settlement of trades.

Develop a solid fundamental understanding of markets, especially in Asia and Global credits, local currency bonds, and US/Canada/Australia/New Zealand rates products.

Drive revenue by originating, pitching, and executing fixed income transactions across rates (govvies, swaps) and credit (Asia and Global IG).

Maintain active dialogue with clients, providing timely market insights, trade recommendations, and execution support.

Monitor and analyze macro and credit developments to generate actionable client strategies.

Focus on cross-team and cross-border selling initiatives.

Manage ad-hoc projects and support product development activities and research.

Experience dealing with official institutions and asset managers (including Life Insurers) is favored.

Familiarity with Structured Products to support growth in the Client Solutions platform, focusing on optimization and collateral management solutions.

Ideal Candidate

More than 7 years of Fixed Income Sales experience, ideally with experience in Rim South-East Asian (Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia) coverage.

Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks independently.

Prior experience in a global bank or institutional investment firm is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good analytical and sales skills.

Motivated individual with knowledge of market and regional landscape.
