The Technical Director role at Moment Factory involves the technical leadership and management of multimedia projects. This includes overseeing equipment, optimizing production workflows, ensuring technical efficiency, and establishing a cohesive relationship between project environment, content, and technology. The role requires developing operational procedures, managing setups and breakdowns, providing internal technical support, and occasional travel to supervise project integrations globally. What We're Looking For

Oversee equipment maintenance.,Optimize production fluidity.,Act as the primary contact for producers and directors to ensure technical efficiency of projects.,Establish a symbiotic relationship between the environment, content, and technologies, including quality control.,Develop daily operational procedures with integrators.,Travel occasionally to supervise project integration across Canada, the U.S., and internationally.,Coordinate space usage and scheduling for setup and breakdown.,Ensure internal technical support.

Ideal Candidate

4-7 years of experience in software, equipment management, and employee supervision, with 3 years in technical direction related to multimedia.,Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in installation and reparation of telecommunications equipment or audio-video equipment / Multimedia integration / Theater production.,Valid driver's license.
