Description

CGI is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms, integrating security and automation throughout the development lifecycle. This role involves shaping DevOps and SRE best practices, driving client impact, and contributing to a collaborative, inclusive environment. The position is hybrid and requires UK Security Clearance.

What We're Looking For

Design, build, secure, and operate scalable cloud-native platforms across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud). Responsibilities include owning CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerization. The role also requires championing DevSecOps and SRE principles, improving reliability and performance, shaping engineering standards, mentoring colleagues, and driving continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate

Hands-on experience in DevSecOps or SRE roles within modern cloud environments,

Strong scripting and automation expertise,

Comfortable working across infrastructure, platforms, and pipelines,

Proactive approach to security, reliability, and continuous improvement,

Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud),

Strong proficiency in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes),

Proven ability to build and maintain automated deployment pipelines,

Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions,

Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go, or similar,

Demonstrable experience embedding security within DevOps practices,

Proven ability to collaborate effectively and mentor others
