Description

TD Wealth Private Investment Advice (TDW PIA) offers a specialized program for Developing Investment Advisors. This program focuses on building comprehensive knowledge in technical, financial, and interpersonal skills to help participants develop a successful client portfolio serving high-net-worth clients. It includes enhanced coaching, training, in-branch system and product orientation, strategic business development, and dedicated practice management support.

What We're Looking For

Build and expand a client base of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, families, and business owners.,Develop and implement comprehensive wealth management and investment strategies tailored to client needs.,Provide recommendations on portfolio construction, security selection, monitoring, and rebalancing.,Execute a business plan focused on client acquisition and market share growth through prospecting, marketing, and pipeline development.,Develop and implement sales strategies to attract, acquire, and retain customers/sales opportunities and referrals.,Collaborate with TD Partners to offer a full range of product and service solutions.,Identify and effectively manage risks to protect organizational interests.,Undergraduate Degree in finance, business, economics, or related discipline.,Currently licensed as a Registered Representative with CIRO.,3+ years of experience in a client-facing, sales, or relationship-focused role, preferably in a mutual fund or brokerage environment.,Deep knowledge of the investment landscape, markets, and portfolio management.,Curiosity and a desire to stay updated on industry trends.,Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.,Proven entrepreneurial experience and ability to manage client relationships.,Comfort with compliance requirements and commitment to ethical client service.,Life Insurance License (LLQP) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate Degree in finance, business, economics or related discipline,Currently licensed as a Registered Representative with CIRO,Professional designations such as CFP, CIM and/or CFA are considered assets,3+ years of experience working directly in a client-facing, sales or relationship-focused role, ideally in a mutual fund or brokerage environment,Deep knowledge of the investment landscape, markets, and portfolio management,Life Insurance License (LLQP) must be obtained within 6 months of hire
