Intelcom | Dragonfly is seeking an optimization specialist with expertise in Vehicle Routing Problems (VRP) to join their team. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing solutions for complex logistics challenges, working with operational teams to optimize delivery routes, reduce transportation costs, minimize travel times, and maximize resource utilization.
What We're Looking For
Develop, implement, and test advanced mathematical models and algorithms for VRP and resource management.,Assess logistics needs and identify optimization opportunities in transportation operations.,Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate solutions with existing transportation management systems.,Monitor and evaluate solution performance, making necessary adjustments and improvements.,Document processes and solutions.,Participate in training and technical support for end-users.
Ideal Candidate
Master's degree or PhD in mathematics, computer science, industrial engineering, or related field.,Demonstrated professional experience in operations research, specializing in VRP problems.,Professional development experience of 3 years or more, ideally in optimization or logistics-related projects, including practice of software development methods and CI/CD.
