Data Intern
Description
Lumerate is looking for two Data Interns to join their Zymewire (Biotech/Pharma) or Zapyrus (MedTech) data teams. The role focuses on finding, reviewing, and analyzing content from company web sources, integrating it into the platform for users. This involves data quality, sourcing, spreadsheet manipulation, prompt engineering for large language models, and basic coding, but it is not a data engineering role. Interns will collaborate with their respective data teams to ensure up-to-date industry activity for sales and marketing efforts. Lumerate is a leader in industry-specific intelligence using machine learning.
What We're Looking For
Find, review, and analyze content from pharma/biotech or MedTech company web sources.,Bring content into the platform to be made actionable for users through data and machine learning processes.,Participate in data projects to expand information depth using methods like spreadsheet manipulation, prompt engineering for large language models, and basic coding.,Work collaboratively with the Zymewire or Zapyrus data team on tasks and projects.,Registered full-time or part-time under a co‑operative education program in a publicly funded Ontario post-secondary institution, and will be enrolled for the duration of the co-op.,A Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.,Legally entitled to work in Canada, including specific province legislation and regulations.,Available for an 8-month co-op/internship term.
