Description

This role involves leading data design and analysis activities, partnering with business stakeholders for requirements, data impact assessments, and solution direction. The Data Designer II is responsible for designing and governing enterprise data models, metadata, and lineage, ensuring data quality, compliance, and alignment with governance standards. The position also provides technical and functional leadership, guiding team members, leading design reviews, and coordinating delivery across business and technology teams for successful data solution implementation.

What We're Looking For

Provide expert guidance in data impact assessments and risk mitigation.,Implement processes for data information management standards, quality, and requirements.,Develop and maintain knowledge of available data from upstream sources and platforms.,Identify critical data elements for Business Segment data governance.,Ensure business data retention and disposal comply with enterprise standards.,Support throughout the data lifecycle to resolve issues and help users interpret data.,Lead root cause investigations for data issues and develop prototyping solutions.,Adhere to enterprise frameworks/methodologies related to data activities.,Collaborate with business partners/stakeholders for project success and to document business data requirements.,Participate in cross-functional/enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert.,Collaborate with technology and business teams for alignment and successful delivery of data solutions.,Facilitate data analysis and investigations for business users and QA teams.,Provide oversight on business impact post-implementation.,Coordinate business requirements with technical teams, ensuring smooth data integration.,Lead/participate in business and technical design reviews.,Lead initiatives on data governance and management, aligning business requirements with policies.,Ensure business metadata and data lineage are documented and integrated with enterprise tools.,Document business requirements and technical decisions.,Stay current on industry trends, business processes, data tools, and best practices.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.,5+ years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific, or financial background.
