Data Designer I
Description
The Data Designer I will collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze, model, and document data requirements, ensuring the creation of accurate and well-governed data solutions. This role is responsible for developing data models, metadata, and data lineage, while also supporting data quality, integration, and adherence to enterprise standards. The position contributes to data design, validation, and continuous improvement across analytics and data platforms.
What We're Looking For
Develop and promote data models using industry-standard tools.,Assess business requirements by researching, analyzing, and documenting data needs.,Define, build, and manage data dictionaries/catalogs for various data platforms.,Ensure metadata and data lineage are captured and compatible with enterprise tools.,Run quality assurance reports and resolve data integrity issues.,Analyze data issues and collaborate with development teams for resolution.,Gather, review, analyze, profile, validate, and map system data for data warehouse integration.,Ensure reporting and analytical business needs are met.,Ensure business data retention and disposal comply with enterprise standards.,Participate in and implement continuous process improvements.,Stay updated on emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements.,Collaborate with technology and business teams for successful data solution delivery.,Facilitate data analysis and investigations for business users and QA teams.,Provide post-implementation support to ensure data solutions meet business outcomes.,Coordinate business requirements with technical teams for smooth data integration.,Participate in business and technical design reviews to ensure data architectures meet objectives.,Understand data governance and management initiatives for alignment with policies.,Ensure business metadata and data lineage are documented and integrated with enterprise tools.,Stay current on industry trends, business processes, data tools, and best practices.,Participate fully as a team member, foster a positive work environment, and ensure timely communication.,Keep updated on business, related tools, and techniques.,Inform others about project status and relevant daily activities.,Assist others, provide training, coaching, and guidance as needed.,Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment.,Act as a brand ambassador for the business area/function and the bank.
Ideal Candidate
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate in engineering, computer science or related fields.,2+ years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background.
