Description

This role is part of KPMG's Digital Advisory business, specifically within the data & analytics management team of KPMG Advisory Services Ltd. The Data Analyst will assist with corporate finance and transaction services advisory clients, focusing on due diligence, data collection, interpretation, and analysis using statistical techniques. Responsibilities include identifying trends, developing data systems, optimizing statistical efficiency, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. The role also involves working with management to prioritize information needs and preparing reports and presentations for clients.

What We're Looking For

Perform client and project due diligence.,Collect and interpret data.,Analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.,Analyze patterns and trends in data sets.,Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.,Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases.,Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.,Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.,Work closely with the management team to prioritize business and information needs.,Assist with preparation of documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and other mainstream analytics software.,Maintain client files in accordance with KPMG guidelines.,Compile and maintain electronic data rooms.,Maintain client transaction and marketing databases.,Develop and maintain market research and industry research databases.,Provide support to teammates, management team, and partners as required.

Ideal Candidate

Cumulative GPA of 3.5 is required.,Experience in financial advisory services or consulting sectors is preferred.,High degree of self-motivation, attention to detail, strong financial, writing, and people skills.,Ability to handle a demanding business environment, work on own initiative, meet tight deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure.,A bachelor's degree or higher.
